About:
I am a technical director at DreamWorks Animation, working with the surfacing department on Kung Fu Panda 2. I spend my days creating, fixing, and locating assets in our Goliath-sized pipeline and developing intuitive tools for our artists.
I recently graduated with dual bachelors' (Digital Media Design) and masters' (Computer Graphics and Game Technology) student at the University of Pennsylvania. My field is computer science with a concentration in graphics programming and a minor in Fine Arts.
I've done freelance work for the Onion News Network and business school start-up endeavors as well as research work in crowds and schizophrenics' interpretation of faces here at my university. I headed my school's SIGGRAPH chapter and served as a teaching assistant for 3D Modeling and Introductory Computer Programming. For my senior project, I created a Maya plugin which would adjust standard human models based on drawn input.
At heart, I'm also a little bit of a storyteller. My skill set includes many common programs and languages, such as Photoshop, Maya, MEL, Python, C++, and Java. I can do almost anything digital media related: illustration, modeling, animation, scripting, and web design to name a few. When not drawing, I enjoy conventions, comic books, cooking, karaoke, and blues dancing.
